Christmas is so bittersweet for me, I have created a different kind of kit for myself this year (although I have plans for a more traditional and fun kit too). Blending a photo into the background like this is a great work-around for the less-than-perfect (read under-exposed and poorly focused) photo you really want to use to tell the story.

These templates are the result of that marathon scrap.

Because these templates were made with photobooks in mind, there is allowance made for gutters and trimming, so nothing important should go missing. and my completed album - I had the pages printed on 6×8 matte paper at the local kiosk, and cut them down to size and glued the pages to chipboard (for the covers) and cardstock (for the pages), and bound the pages together with my Zutter Bind-it-All.
